POA Learning Manager

POA Learning requires a Manager to directly manage the Union Learning Fund Project on behalf of the POA.

Terms and conditions together with salary details will be given to those who wish to apply.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months from 1^st April 2010 – 31^st March 2011, subject to 1 year extension, with 25 days annual leave, plus 3 privilege days. Pension provisions will be provided.

This post is full time or part time based on 35 hours per week.

Albany Learning Centre wins 2009 Learndirect Achievement Award

Working with Employers Award

The National Winners of the 2009 learndirect Achievement Awards were announced at a special ceremony on 19 October 2009 at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel, London.

The Albany POA Learning Centre, based in Newport, won the Working with Employers Award, as well as being Highly Commended in the Centre of the Year Award category. The Working with Employers Award recognises learning centres that work with local businesses using Train to Gain or other methods, resulting in benefits for the businesses they support.
