The Learning Centre is based within the Staff Development Department, in the outside Facility Building at HMP Frankland. We have 3 Union Learning Representatives at Frankland Dave Anderson (POA), Andrea O’Connell (RCN) and Stewart Herkes (POA), at Low Newton we have Emma Guthrie (POA) all are available to offer Information, Advice and Guidance.

Monday to Thursday includes Lunchtimes.

The Centre offers Numeracy and Literacy assessments, Spanish for Beginners, Italian for Beginners, Introduction to Sign Language and Computers for Beginners. In the future we hope to introduce intermediate courses for all of the above, as well as a Yoga course.
