Dave Parkman came to the centre through needing support with his Dyslexia. He had received one session of testing for his Dyslexia and was in the process of awaiting further testing. At the time of his first visit to the centre he was a serving officer awaiting his JSAC exam for promotion to Senior Officer. 9 months later he has sat his JSAC exam and was one of only 3 people to successfully pass the test. He has also completed two Literacy Learn Direct courses, been promoted to P-ASRO Drug Treatment Manager and also started a Management course.



His aim next year is to sit the Level 1 Literacy and then progress to the Level 2 National qualification.
