The cente was opened by the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Woolf on the 8th of December 2005. Lord Woolf stated that he was impressed with the centre and its facilities, and also with the work that the POA Union Learning Fund was doing with Prison Staff. The event was attended by over 80 people, including Colin Moses, Steve Gough, the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, the Mayor of Nottingham and representatives from South Nottingham College. |
